    Aldwych and King William Street

    Aldwych station or Strand? Open for public visits except on the day we were there. Ah well.... then under the shadow of Monument, we found the plaque to King William street station. We checked the map to discover we had 8 more miles to cycle. Despite pleading from our tired legs, we decided to walk up the 311 steps to the top of monument for the awesome view and a little certificate to commorate the achievment..... one to show to our grand children perhaps.
