    End of the line...

Last few stops on our journey. Mark Lane, were we didn't find any sign of where the tube used to be, but I liked the stange markings on the road. The work of a demented road worker or perhaps some alien intelligence.
Then on to St. Marys. Once again, any evidence seems to have been lost to make way for fried chicken and booze shops... or are we just standing in the wrong place :-/
Shorditch station still has the old building, hurrah, although looking a little worse for wear these days, with a man pissing on it just out of shot.
By the time we get to City Road, Anna looks like she has lost the will to live. I like the facade on this building, because it would have been a bit of an eyesoar if it was just plain bricks.
York Road Station is still there in all its glory. The tops of my legs now starting to look as red as the tiles on the station. Should have used more suncream.... especially since it looks like the sun has exploded in this photo and is just about to engulf me. Unfortuately, the sun hadn't exploded, it just meant the end of our disposible camera with one stop remaining!!! We went to South Kentish Town anyway, and vainly posed and clicked the camera anyway... just in case.

25 miles later, and it was time for a beer and then bed.
